The most talented woodwind, brass and percussion students in Northeast Ohio perform as members of the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony (CYWS) each year. The two ensembles rehearse weekly at Cleveland State University's music building, conveniently located in Downtown Cleveland.

CYWS performs many concerts throughout the school year, including showcase performances with other elite wind ensembles and collaborations with CSU's bands. CYWS tours regularly to international locations throughout Europe and Australia.
